Kira stopped glaring at her dragon before turning back to her guests.
"Only if you allow it to go too far, but for the most part, no. As long as both creatures know their limits, then everything is fine. Plus, we always have judges to help determine where a battle should go, so, yeah..." She said, smiling sheepishly.

Ashely nodded and smiled a little. "Well, that's alright then."
Chaos moved the blonde's ponytail to behind her shoulders. "It's all perfectly safe then, that's good."

Kira tilted her head at them and smiled, then turned back to her own creature.
"YOU owe me big time. You are just lucky our newest tenants are VERY gracious and kind. So, mind gettin me a crepe?" She asked in a false, nice voice.

Chaos chuckled. "I'd love a coffee, black with thr-"
"Two" Ashely interrrupted.
"Two," Chaos sighed, "sugars."
The blonde smiled. "I'd like a cola please."

Sera chuckled slightly at their antics before floating off to the kitchen. Kira held in a giggle as she focused her attention on the two in front of her.
"So, how about we have a little practice match after lunch? Kitty and Slifer are gonna hold a tournament soon, and the deadline for entering will be upon us soon. You can decide if you like it or not and sign up with time to spare. Interested?" She asked, laying back slightly and yawning.

Chaos tilted his head as he listened before nodding. "I certainly am interested," he looked at his Human. "What about you blondie?"
Ashely thought about this for a moment. "I suppose it can't hurt to try it; and it's not like the tournament, if we enter, is going ot be unsafe with Kitty and Slifer around."
The Mage stroked her hair a little. "You're learning to realise that not everything is unsafe. This is good progress for you."
She smiled a little and examined her fingernails for a few moments before looking back up at Kira. "What about you and Sera; do you enter the tournements?"

Kira smiled at their conversation.
"It would be safe even if Kitty and Slifer weren`t heading it. Morta is a very nice place to live. It would actually be more dangerous if we didn't have power-matches, because all the energy stored within our creatures would build to dangerous levels and it could be released at unpredictable intervals." She explained.
"It happened once with me, and I nearly wiped out the entire city, lucky for me, I was able to see it coming and got high enough into the sky before I released my power." Sera said, coming back with everyone's food and setting it down in front of them. Kira nodded and laid a hand on her dragon.
"That's how we were discovered, and we surely would not have made it out if Slifer hadn`t come and grabbed us before the angry mob did. Quite frankly, I didn`t think owning high-caliber guns like that was legal if you weren't in the military, and yet people were coming out with Uzis and even scarier weapons." Kira said, taking a bite out of her crepe. Seeing her partner was eating, Sera went ahead and answered Ashely's question.
"Well, I have power-matches with Slifer all the time, yes, but this will be our first tournament. We were getting bored fighting each other all the time, so Slifer and Kitty began organising the tournament. They are gonna do an announcement later today on it." She said, uncoiling slightly.

Ashely and Chaos listened to their friends talking, the blonde's eyes widening somewhat at the news that Sera nearly wiped out a whole city. Chaos' eyebrows nearly disappeared into his hair at the news of the guns before shaking his head in a "I don't believe what this world is coming to" way and sipping his coffee.
The blonde tilted her head as the Dragon uncoiled, finding the movement ever so graceful. She sipped her cola and pondered. "What do you reckon Chaos? Would you be up for it? It sounds safe and it could be fun."
"It sounds almost like it's necessary for high powered monsters actually Shell," he put his coffee cup down. "But if it's made into something organised, supervised and fun then at least the releasing of the power a) doesn't get anyone hurt and b) isn't boring."
"That's what I thought."

Sera and Kira nodded just as a loud shout was heard.
"Oh my." Kira said.
"Sounds like Slifer is starting the announcement. We should head over quickly. Come on!" Sera said, rushing out the door along with a few other creatures. Kira stood up and waited for her friends.
