A meeting of Might and Magic (Ashely needed.)

Ashely and Chaos studied the scene before them.

"It's so pretty," the blonde said softly. "It's nice seeing the sea so calm."

"Cosidering we're on an island," Chaos said. "Do we have any preventions again tsunamis, flooding and hurricanes?"

Slifer smiled and nodded.

"Yes, you see, I also work here, and I can manipulate the elements enough to prevent tsunamis, we have spellcasters stationed here to prevent floods, and we have underground shelters for well, everything else. We took much into consideration when we built our city." Slifer proudly said.

Chaos nodded. "Sounds like everything's thoroughly thought out then."

Ashely smiled and looked around the dock a bit more. "I'm assuming that you can deal with fires too then?"

Slifer nodded.

"Yes, though, nothing real impressive about our fire department, it is just your standard, local government-supported fire department that you would find in any city. Standard equipment, a few guardians assisting, a little bit of magic, the basics. Our police department is slightly more interesting because we have more guardians working there, mostly dragons, to help keep the peace." He explained.

Ashely nodded. "That's cool"

Chaos looked around. "Is there a varied selection of jobs here? I know we're both going to want, and need, to work eventually."

"But of course, we have jobs for both creature and human. It all depends on what you want to do, we aren't picky at the moment." Slifer said happily

Ashely brightened at the possibility at being able to do anything. "Does that mean I could get a job where I can draw things or something?"

Chaos chuckled. "She loves drawing and painting, like I enjoy people watching and observing."

"Sure, we are in need of artists to make stuff for us to display and attract tourists." Slifer replied happily.

Ashely beamed and held onto Chaos' hand. "Will you lead us to wherever it is we can find somewhere to live please Slifer? I'd really like to get that sorted."

Slifer smiled at the girls lack of formality towards him. He felt as if she was getting accustomed to his presence.

"Very well, now you said you wanted an apartment? How big? A human-sized one or do you expect to invite dragonic friends over sometime in the future?" He asked, he wanted to make sure he made his new residents as comfortable as he could.

Chaos watched the blonde as she thought.

"I guess most dragons can change form?" She tilted her head. "I'm not sure I would be comfortable being around anything so big for a long period of time."

"That's understandable Shell," the magician tucked some of her hair behind her ear before talking to Slifer. "I think we'd like a two bedroom one too, if that's possible?"

"Of course, most of our apartments have 3-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms. So, let's get going?" He suggested softly, walking away slowly.

Still holding Chaos' hand, Ashely followed the Dragon God, her Magician following along behind her.

They came to a quiet circle of apartment buildings, with multiple floors in each building. Slifer tilted his head to the side and looked at Ashely and her mage.

"Forgive me if you already told me, but would you like one on the bottom floor or below ground or higher?" He asked curiously.

Chaos let Ashely answer.

"Ground level please," she smiled softly. "But if one of those isn't avaliable, then I think I can take one on the floor above ground floor."

Chaos nodded a bit. "She doesn't like heights really," he added.
