Chaos smiled. "I'll have one of your sausage and bacon sandwiches, with brown sauce, if I may."
"I'd like some pancakes please." Ashely said shyly.
Chaos looked at the blonde, who nodded. "And we'd both like a glass of pineapple juice, please."

(XD Chaos likes bacon and Pineapple Juice, dammit, he's making me hungry! ROFL.)
The Serpent Night Dragon scribbled on her pad and nodded at them.
"Thank you, I'll be back with your food in just a little bit." She said and floated away, ripping a few sheets off her pad and sticking them on a hook attached to a dragon statue. She then went behind the counter and into a back room. If you looked around, you could see many creatures around the entire cafe, a few of them floated to get a better view of the 3 huge tlevision screens portraying the morning news. While they waited, just before the Serpent night dragon returned, Slifer yawned and stretched, obviously very tired.
"Next time Kitty wakes me up at midnight to tell me she has to do a presentation at 8:00 in the morning and needs my help, I am going to hit her hard with a Thunderbolt Summons that'll knock some sense into her." He complained quietly. The Serpent Night Dragon returned with their food and began setting the plates and drinks down.
"She did it again huh? I didn't think you needed to do presentations when you are a dragon tamer. How long were you up this time?" She asked, placing a cup of coffee and a couple of eggs down in front of him.
"6 hours! And she shouldn't need to do presentations if her flunkies weren't so idiotic, and she shouldn't have to have the presentations use magic. Why she didn't tell me earlier is a mystery to me." He said, sipping his coffee. The Serpent Night Dragon giggled and held her serving tray to her chest.
"Well, you know how unpredictable Shigure is, he might not have told her until just before she woke you up." Slifer growled and reached into his jeans, pulling out a wallet.
"Yeah, I swear, one of these days, I am going to show Shigure just what happens when you piss off an Egyptian God. Here, keep the change." He said, handing her $30. The Serpent Night Dragon gave a nod and put her claw to the middle of his back, pushing until a *pop!* was heard, causing Slifer to groan.
"Thank you, Sera. Tell Kiki I said hi." He said, his eyes lightly glazed and his blue tongue partially sticking out. Sera closed her eyes and nodded.
"No prob, I know how you feel. See you later." She said and she looked to the Magician and his human. "I hope to see you again soon." and with that she floated away to another table. Slifer shook his head and began to slowly eat his meal.

Throught out exhange, the blonde and the Mage looked at each other. They both thanked the Serpent Night Dragon as they got their food, Shelly beginning to tuck into hers. The Mage however sipped at his drink as he looked around, contemplating the exchange and the whole place in general.
Ashely hummed a bit as she ate her pancakes, a little uncertain of her surroundings, but glad that this place did good food, and the waitress seemed friendly.
"I have to admit," the Magician said after swallowing a mouthful of sandwich, "that I'm still not really sure what you and your Human do here."

Slifer looked at the Magician and smirked, swallowing his food before speaking.
"Well, I am not sure I know what your mean by that, but I shall do my best to clarify. My human and I created the City of Morta because unlike what you may be used to, most humans are afraid of us. My human, and most of the humans with Guardians who reside here, were threatened because of us. We built Morta so that our humans can escape the repression of those who do not understand. Look around you magician, tell me what you see." Slifer said, raising his hand and waving around at all the people and creatures within the restaurant.
(real quick, don't mention any monster names who are not taken, I don't want to put potential members in an uncomfortable position)

Chaos looked around. "There actually some rather scary loking creatures here..."
"I don't think Chaos was feared back where we came from, but that's probably because he looks human, and no one really stopped and had a good look at his face when he walked down the street with me."
"Blondie here had me wear Human menswear and tie my hair back a bit. It actually seemed to work." He smiled a bit and kissed the top of the blonde's head affectionately.
"I think creating this place was a wonderful idea," Ashely said, sipping her juice, her pancakes almost finished. "So, are you like," she paused and looked into her glass as she contemplated her wording. "Are you and Cat like the owners of this place then?"

Slifer smiled and took a sip of his coffee.
"Well, you could say that, I mean, Cat and I, along with a couple of friends of ours, built this place, so many would consider us to be the owners, but really, the city of Morta belongs to the people who live within it's walls. I am glad you appreciate our idea to create a safe haven for the Guardians. And speak of the Zorc, why are you back?" Slifer burst out suddenly a the Serpent Night Dragon returned. She tilted her head to the side and looked curiously at Slifer.
"I'm on one of my breaks. I figured I would come make sure you were good to go and then I would go check on Kiki, you know how she is. I've got to make sure she didn't loan our house to hoboes or something." At that, Slifer burst out laughing. He was very close to hurting himself and he had a hard time regaining his composure.
"My, my, aren't we confident in our beloved?" Slifer said with a twinkle in his eye. The dragon looked at him wryly.
"Admit it, you only laughed because I said the word 'Hobo'." She asked teasingly. Slifer threw his head back and closed his eyes.
"Not true."
"Don't lie to me."
"Are you giving a command to an Egyptian god?" At this, the Serpent Night dragon sweatdropped.
"Uh.... Bye!" And with that, the Serpent Night Dragon flew quickly out of the cafe. Slifer chuckled and folded his hands behind his head.
"I love hanging that over their heads, it makes things so awkward for them, hahaha. Now, shall I show you the rest of the city or would you like to be shown to your new home?" Slifer asked them, yawning.

By now, both their plates (and their glasses) were empty. Chaois looked at the blonde.
"What would you like to do?"
"I think a tour of the city would be nice. I can make myself a map later so I don't get lost too." She smiled softly. "I do hope that we're not too much trouble."

Slifer smiled at them both.
"Not at all, I enjoy being able to help others. So, if you are ready, let us be off. We are near the edge of the Business District, which means we are close to the Quarter, so that will be the first place I show you.” He said, standing up. “Shall we go?” He asked them.

Chaos stood up and let Shelly out, tucking both of their chairs in before the blonde took his arm.
"Please lead the way," the blonde smiled softly.

"Good." Slifer said, and he led the three of them out of the cafe. When they got outside, Slifer stretched yet again and looked around. "So, if we go this way... Excuse me for a minute." Slifer turned back and said to them. He then walked a few steps forward and he became engulfed in a bright light that reached toward the sky. When the light disappeared, Slifer was gone.

Ashely followed the Egyptian God out of the cafe, the Mage following her. They both watched the Dragon disappear and blinked. Shelly blinked and moved closer to Chaos, a bit worried.
"What was that?"
"I have no idea..."

(XP, 's ok, anyway, don't forget, up until this point, Slifer was in human form.)
Suddenly, a dull roar was heard and a giant red dragon came out of the sky and curled around one of the nearby buildings. He turned his head toward Ashely and her Mage and attempted an awkward smile.
"Sorry, I needed to be able to see which direction to go, so, then, shall I show you the way? Or am I making you uncomfortable? I make a lot of humans and creatures very nervous when I am in this form." The dragon said with the lower of its two mouths.

Chaos watched his Human cower a little at the size of the Dragon near them. "If it's all the same, I think Shelly would prefer it if you weren't in that form..."

Slifer nodded and uncurled himself from his perch, becoming covered in a red smoke. when the smoke cleared, a crimson-haired, pupil-less yellow eyed young man stood in front of them.
"I figured as much, so, shall we go now?"
