Slifer chuckled and yawned, looking at the clock by the door.
"Wow, time sure flies. I can't believe it's 5:30 already." He said, letting his wings pop out of his back and drape over the back of the couch. Catilena grabbed one and wrapped it around herself, stroking the arm-bone in it. Slifer tilted his head back contently and smiled slightly.
"I wonder what we're going to do for dinner tonight, takeout maybe." Catilena said, her stomache growling slightly.

Chaos looked at Shelly, who quirked an eyebrow. Chaos rolle dhis eyes playfully in response before turning to Slifer and Cat and speaking. "We were invited to go and have Dragon Fried Chicken with Sera and Kira, maybe you could come with us?"

Catilena's eyes opened wide at Chaos' invitation and she ran out of Slifer's wing toward him, putting an arm on either side of him and looking at him intently.
"Sera's making her specialty again? Really? When did you find this out? How? She NEVER tells me when she is doing it!" She spouted off at him while Slifer just sat there and stared dumbfoundedly at his girl's reaction to the invite.

Chaos chuckled nervously. "Er, I called her earlier to find out if she had your address so we could come and visit and we got thrown an invite for food."
Ashely giggled at Chaos' nervous laugh and leant against his arm a little.

Slifer shook his head quickly and reached toward them with his tail, wrapping it around Catilena's waist and wrenching her away from Chaos.
"And you wonder why she never tells you when she is making it. Sorry Chaos, if you couldn't tell when they invited you, Kira is a monster when it comes to those, and so is Kitty. Everytime Sera's chicken gets involved, it's everything we can do to keep them from ripping each other's throats out, and Kira is a cripple at the moment. We'd consider it, but Sera probably wouldn't appreciate a surprise visit from me and Kitty. It take a long time to enchant food so that it fills me up, and Sera doesn't want to make Kira wait. We'll just go out to eat tonight, but thanks for letting us know." He said sheepishly, trying to clear the air of the awkwardness that Catilena created.

Chaos smiled a little. "Ah, that's okay. This one," he elbows Shelly gently, "gets like that when pasta or Hunter's Chicken is involved."
"You're a little like that with pizza," Shelly mumbled, rubbing her side a bit where she'd been elbowed.

Slifer chuckled at their antics and smiled.
"We all have our bane. Mine is crab. So, what are you two planning on doing for work?" He asked them, tilting his head while still holding Catilena to him with his tail.

"I've been offered a job by Kira and Sera, as a magic-maintenance guy here at the apartment complex," Chaos explained, gently rubbing Shelly's side better.
"I'm going to go and take a few courses before I look for something," Shelly smiled a little.

Slifer nodded and gently set Catilena on the couch next to him. He looked thoughtfully at Chaos and Ashely.
"I see, congratulations Chaos, and good for you Ashely, hun. I`m glad to hear you guys are off to a good start. Since we are fairly new, there are many opportunities for work here in all kinds of places. You should have no trouble figuring out which one is right for you." He told them as he wrapped an arm around Kitty and slightly hugged her.
