A Visit to the Dragon *all are welcome*

Chaos grinned. "That sounds awesome."

"The protection courses sound cool too," Ashely added. "I'll definitely check those out, even if it's only for the experience." She chuckled. "Hey, I'll take whatever course I can get, I love learning."

"That you do my dear," he cleared his throat a little. "You said between 6:45 and 7:15 right?"

"We'll probably be over smack bang in the middle of that," Shelly giggled, heading to the living room.

"She's right though..."

Sera chuckled.

"And just think, afterwards, you'll know a little magic hun. You'll never be as powerful as your mage, or even me, but you'll know enough to get by." She said encouragingly.

"And yep, anywhere between 6:45 and 7:15. That would be great." Sera replied. Kira yawned loudly in the background and Sera laughed.

Ashely chuckled from her seat at Kira. "That'd be cool..."

Chaos grinned. "Well, alright then. I should hang up now and we'll see you then?"

Sera laughed at the action her human took and had a hard time regaining her composure.

"Probably wise, she always does that when I don't pay attention to her. She'll throw a book at me or something if I keep ignoring her, hehe. So I`ll see you then guys. I`ll probably throw a sleeping spell on her or something before you get here so she doesn't attack you, Kira is a mean cripple, hahaha. See you later." She said before hanging up. She floated back to Kira and clopped her on the head with a claw before positioning herself over her human's back.

"I was having a great conversation with him Kira." She said as she began massaging Kira's back. Kira groaned happily as her back started popping into place.

"My back was hurting, and you were taking too long! You and your chatting." She said weakly as she relaxed into the dragon's touch.

Chaos chuckled and hung up before going ot find his own Human. He found her sitting on the couch, a book in her lap. He smiled and stood by her, stroking her hair.

"You okay hon?"

She nodded and turned the page in her book, checking the time first. "I'm good yeah. I'll put some clean clothes on just before we go."

"I'm gonna go and shower then," he kissed the top of her head. "Considering you took your sweet time doing so this morning."

Ashely giggled and went back to her book.

Hearing the soft snoring of his human, Slifer put his book down and smiled. He loved watching Kitty sleep and could not bring himself to wake her up. So he gently stood up and looked around.

The apartment was not what one would call pretty, after all, Kitty's insatiable taste for purple could be seen everywhere. The walls were painted a dark, smooth lavender, with a bit of crimson streaking. The couch was a lighter, more feminen lavender than the walls.
The clear, glass coffee table was one of the few non-purple or red items in the house. If you went into the bedrooms, there were 3 in total, you could easily identify whom each room belonged to.

Catilena's room looked like a purple tsunami hit it. Everything, furnature and all, was some shade of purple. On each side of the queen-sized bed, located in the center of the room, was a nightstand, each containing a lamp and a remote control to the TV, located by the window to the right side. The sheets were a soft lavender while the comforter sported a picture of Slifer, for obvious reasons. Even the bathroom *for this was the master-bedroom, and it had it's own bathroom* had not escaped her purple tirade. Even the lou was a very light lavender. The only non-purple things in that room were the chrome faucets and the white toilet-paper.

Slifer's room, although it doesn't get used very much for he usually slumbers with his girl, was a blazing red. It did not have very much in the way of decor, it had a small four-poster bed with red sheets and blankets and it had a reading light attached to the head-board. A dark red carpet covered the room, completing the look.

The last room, which was the guest room, was pretty plain. It was painted black, and it had an ash-colored carpet along with two four-poster beds on opposite sides of the room. The general bathroom was easily located across the hall for easy access.

The kitchen was mostly plain as well. It was white and sterile, like a hospital, for Slifer prides himself on cleanliness. There was a large fridge containing all kinds of food next to a large, electric stove that can also run on gas in case of a power-outage. There were cuboards surrounding the two-sided sink and one side had a bunch of clean dishes lying inside it, drying, for there was not a dishwasher to be found, which did not Bother Slifer in the least. He preferred to wash his own dishes rather than let a hunk of metal allow him to be lazy. Besides, those tended to break, and he did not want to waste his money on anything like that when he had far better things to do with his craws. (Not a misspelling, that is what the currancy of Morta is called*

As he thought of his home's appearence, he transformed into his dragon form, for this was one of the enchanted apartments that allowed for large creatures such as he, and curled around the couch, laying a claw lightly over his humans shoulder.

"It wouldn't hurt to take a short nap." He said contently, watching his girl sleep.

As Chaos showered, Shelly kept reading for a little while before her mind screamed at her to stop; the tiny font making her eyes and brain hurt. She leant her chin on her hand and looked around. The apartment was still as it was when they'd moved in; very neutral. They hadn't really had the time, or the money, to redecorate yet and Ashely didn't really know what sort of colours she wanted when they did have the money.

She knew that Chaos would want dark colours though. Dark wood she would allow but dark paint? No no. Too depressing for her. She looked around the living room; a couple of sofas, a coffee table, a TV, a bookshelf and a stereo (with enough floor space for dancing really). It was a good layout and she didn't plan on changing it.

She put her book on the coffee table and moved into the kitchen part of the open plan room. The kitchen, couldn't really be laid out any better. A small breakfast bar that two could sit at and a dining table that four could sit at fitted in this half room just right, the breakfast bar dividing the room in half, almost. The appliances were pretty high tech. Well, Shelly thought, wiping down a counter. We might be missing a few "little luxuries" but I'm sure we can do without.

The bathroom wouldn’t need redecorating, the white tiles and floorboards suited it just fine. Maybe replacing the white accessories with coloured ones will brighten it up a little though, that’d be nice. And cheaper than redecorating the whole thing. Shelly wandered into the second bedroom before moving to look through her wardrobe in the main bedroom.

Well, I guess all the rooms could do with a little more colour really, even if it’s just a rug or two, some new curtains and some pictures. Definitely cheaper than redecorating the whole lot…

As Kitty slept, Slifer continued to watch over her, replaying some of his early memories of her in his head. He was amazed at how she had grown and matured from the timid, shy little girl into the very fun, happy-go-lucky teen she is today.

When he had first appeared, he planned on claiming the girl as a priestess, but he thought better of it as he spent time with her. He wanted her to be happy, and nothing but, so if she wanted him, he would let HER decide that. Until then, he was happy to be her best friend/parent.

"Sleep well my little girl, I'll be watching over you always." He said quietly as the tip of his great blue tongue gently tapped the back of her head.

Shelly was still looking through the wardrobe when Chaos returned from his shower.

"You'll look just fine in anything you put on my dear," he patted her shoulder as he walked past to his side of the bed, to get to the drawers in his bedside table.

Ashely jumped and smiled a little. "Oh, I know. You tell me enough. Reckon jeans and a shirt would be okay?"

"Of course." Chaos disappeared back to the bathroom.

Shelly chuckled. "Still can't get dressed in front of me in daylight hmn?"

"Heard that!"

With warm, fuzzy thought's in his head, Slifer slowly drifted off into a state of half-sleep. He was still aware of everything going on around him, such was the wind blowing outside or the girl in his claws turning over every so often, but he was far enough gone to be considered restfully sleeping.

When both Shelly and Chaos as dressed, the blonde looked at the clock.

"It's still early. Shall we go see Kitty and Slifer?"

Chaos smiled. "We'll pick up the heat pads for Kira on the way back here before we go to see them."

Ashely nodded. "Do you have your keys? Or should I take my keys too?"

"Always take your keys, just in case."

The blonde nodded again before going to put some shoes on, Chaos copying her and following he out of the door, making sure it was locked properly behind them.

By this time, Slifer snapped out of his little trance and yawned. Looking at the clock, he saw it was 2:30 and figured now would be a good time to wake up Kitty. He gently nudged her with is fore-claw and spoke in a soft voice.

"Time to wake up dear. Come on." He said. Catilena groaned and pulled his claw over her, refusing to get up.. Slifer chuckled and continued to badger her.

"Come on sweetheart, wake up now." He carried on.

Ashely and Chaos walked arm in arm to Slifer and Kitty's apartment. Chaos starightened his sweater and knocked on the door.

Kitty was just waking up when a knock on the door was heard. Slifer turned to it and yawned, then looked back at Kitty.

"Go clean yourself up and I`ll get the door." He said, picking her up gently and pushing her toward her room. With his tail he opened the door, still not paying attention to who was there.

"Come on in, we just woke up so we might be a little slow." He said, not seeing any reason to yell since his head alone was large enough to fit the whole room had the apartment not been enchanted to accomodate him.

Shelly giggled and patted his tail gently. "That's alright Slifer."

Chaos chuckled and closed the door behind them. "Napping is always fun."
