Slifer turned his head and saw Ashely and Chaos entering, and he smiled.
"Yes it is, because then you can watch cute girls without making them feel awkward, heh." He said just as Kitty came out brushing her hair.
"Hello guys, good to see you again." She said, yawning.

Shelly hit his arm playfully and smiled at Kitty. "Heya, how're you both?"

Slifer laughed at Chaos' comment and nodded.
"You and I are going to get along nicely." He pointed out to him. He shifted his body around a bit so that the couch was visible to their guests and available while Catilena sat down near his head.
"We're fine, just a little bored." She said. Slifer cleared his throat and at and she rolled her eyes, still brushing her hair.
"Reading might be fine for you, but I prefer something not so quiet." She clipped.

Chaos grinned at Slifer. Shelly smiled and sat down, nodding a thanks to Slifer as he moved.
"I know that feeling," Chaos muttered, looking at Shelly as he sat next to her. "This one loves to read."
"He normally goes to mess around in the kitchen while I do," Shelly chuckled.

Slifer laughed at Chaos' response and Ashely's explaination.
"I`ll let you have a look at my library if you like. I`ve got quite an extensive collection, all in English, because otherwise Kitty wouldn't let me keep them. She dislikes anything she can't figure out, including foreign language." Slifer told Ashely. Catilena grinned as she felt Chaos' antipathy towards reading.
"You and I are going to figure out an activity to do while those two read their books, haha--OW!" She said, the brush catching on a knot.
"Realm it, not again!" She complained, trying to get rid of it.

Shelly bounced a little in her seat at the mention of a library before shifting over to gently help Cat with the knot in her hair. "Hold still girl, it looks like a big one..."
Chaos watched his girl. "She's good with knots."
"Have to get them out of his hair all the time."

Catilena let go of the brush and moved her head so that the tangle was facing Ashely, grumbling softly to herself about the knot. Slifer nodded sympathetically at them and smiled at Ashely's comment.
"She gets them everytime she sleeps out of place because it makes her hair shift around. Sorta tragic really." Slifer told her. Yawning, Slifer stretched his wings a little and shape-shifted into his human form, walking toward the kitchen.
"Can I get anyone anything while I`m up?" He called as he walked over. Catilena piped up.
"Cherry Soda!" She called.

"Just a water fo rme please," Chaos said, watching the blonde gently detangling Cat's hair.
"I'd love a cola if you have any please Slifer," Shelly smiled a little as she carefully worked on Cat's hair, taking her time a little in order to be very gentle.

"Comin up." Slifer said as he grabbed the drinks. Catilena held very still while Ashely worked the knot out. She chuckled sheepishly as it slowly came undone.
"Thanks so much, this happens alot, and it hurts everytime, though I don't get why, those nerves died a long time ago." She said as Slifer came out. He set everyone's drinks down on the coffee table and sat on the couch by Kitty, listening to the conversation.

Shelly handed Cat's brush back and smiled. "I know the feeling." She thanked Slifer for the drink before sitting next to Chaos again.
"I know the feeling more I think; I don't know why it still happens either." Chaos smiled sympathetically and sipped his water, nodding to Slifer in thanks.

Catilena yawned and stretched her arms looking at her friends.
"Welcome to the club pal. So, how are you liking our city so far?" She asked, tilting her head at them. Slifer nodded and put his elbow on her shoulder, eying them curiously.

"I like it."
Chaos nodded. "I like not having to be on guard every time we meet new people, in case those new people don't like Guardians."
"I like seeing so many Guardians," Shelly smiled. "Especially those who's cards weren't that common." She sipped her drink.
"It's a well laid out city too, " Chaos added. "Everything is really easy to get to."
"It's pretty too." The blonde added.

Catilena and Slifer beamed at the compliments Chaos and Ashely gave them and tilted their heads at them.
"Thanks so much. And I am so glad you feel safe here Chaos. Slifer and I will protect you from anti-guardian extremists." She said, feeling relieved that her dream was somewhat coming true.
"We are going to be adding another addition to the city real soon. An underwater extension that will basically create a second Quarter hundreds of miles under the sea. Sera and I are still drawing up the plans, and we might need a little help in terms of suggestions and stuff, so if you guys have any ideas, feel free to share them." Slifer told them, excited by the concept. Catilena rolled her eyes and playfully punched Slifer's shoulder.
"That was supposed to be a secret you overgrown snake! Haha, we aren't real close to making that happen, really, but yes, if you do have ideas, feel free to share them." Catilena said as she stretched her arms out.

Chaos nodded. "I shall certainly have a think on it."
Shelly giggled when Cat called Slifer an "over grown snake" and tilted her head a little bit. "An underwater extension? That sounds cool."
Chaos rubbed his temples. "Darn, I forgot that you're a bit of a water baby... I'm not going to be able to keep you away from it when/if it's built, am I?"
Shelly grinned.

Catilena sweatdropped slightly at their conversation and chuckled.
"Well, there isn't going to be much in terms of actually being in the water in it, unless you are a water-based guardian. If you guys like, when we actually start construction, you are more than welcome to help us. We are going to need all the magical help we can get once we get contruction started." She said yawning. Slifer nodded thoughtfully and leaned against the back of the couch.
