Chaos blinked, not even realising that he'd blushed. "Oh nonsense. To be honest, I'm not even sure which gender the blonde prefers. She's forever keying up women sometimes. And she gets chatted up a lot."

Slifer chuckled and leaned back in his seat, keeping his arms crossed.
"Alright alright. I`ll let you win this round, but I know what I saw there buddy." He teased. Before he could say anything more, a large crash was heard outside, causing the cafe to shake a bit. Tourists inside of the cafe yelped in fright, wondering what had happened, and Sera flew to the center of the building, letting loose a screechy roar.
"Your attention please! Just calm down everyone, it's alright. It's merely merely a Tamer with their hands full. Just keep enjoying your meals, I`m sure this will all get sorted out soon." Sera said, floating back down to check on the customers while Slifer stood up.
"Why do I have a feeling I know who it is? You may come if you like, Chaos." He said, making his way over to the door to see what was going on. Just as he thought, Kitty was in the middle of the street, a whip at her side, staring down a rather angry brown dragon whose tail lashed about with as much anger as was evident on its face.

Chaos had grinned at the dragon before dropping the stick in surprise at the crash, hurrying after Slifer as the dragon headed outside. He looked up at the brown dragon and blinked a little, seeing the anger on its face.
"Oh dear..."

Slifer grinned and crossed his arms, staying behind the door.
"No worries. This will be fun to watch. You`re about to see what I was talking about earlier, about people thinking this is a dangerous line of work." He said as the dragon let out a piercing roar, charging towards Catilena. She smirked, staying absolutely still as the dragon charged. She let it get close to her before side-stepping out of his way. the dragon tried to turn around, but as soon as he placed a foot towards her to run for her again, Cat snapped the whip, the tail wrapping around the dragons wrist, and pulled with all her might, sending the beast toppling over. She pulled her whip back just as the dragon turned it's face to her, opening it's mouth where a white glow appeared in it's throat.
"Oh no you don't." She yelled loud enough for Slifer to hear as she snapped her whip once more, the tail wrapping around the dragons upper jaw. She ran towards the creature and immediately pulled down when she was below its maw, dragging the massive head down and tying the whip around its snout. The dragon glared angrily at her for cutting off its main attack and swiped at her with a claw, throwing her back several feet before she regained her footing.
"Lost your whip dear, now what are you going to do?" Slifer mused as the dragon struggled to get the muzzle off while Catilena panted heavily.

Chaos watched all of this with interest, but being cautious; not particularly liking how angry the dragon looked, or how sharp those claws were.

Catilena continued to pant as the dragon finally stood up, crouching down to charge once more. Slifer opened the door slightly and looked out at Cat and tilted his head.
"Need help?" He asked as the dragon ran forward. Cat smirked and sidestepped once more, causing the dragon to trip again.
"No thanks, I`m good." She said breathlessly as the dragon charged towards her again. Catilena sidestepped again, but her opponent wasn't going to fall for this trick three times in a row. He turned with her and Cat found herself backed into a corner with no escape. The dragon thought he had her this time as he ran forward, leaping for her throat. Cat smirked and snapped her fingers just as he reached her. The dragon crashed into the building, and for a moment, Slifer's heart stopped. The dust cleared, and the dragon was out cold, but Cat was nowhere to be found, Slifer opened the door again and narrowed his eyes at the fallen dragon.
"Kitty! Where are you! Are you okay!?" He said frantically as Catilena walked up behind the two, crossing her arms with a smirk.
"I`m right here pal." She said, prompting Slifer to spin around rapidly. He gave her a dumbfounded stare as Catilena chuckled.
"Told you my magic was improving." She said, tilting her head to work out some kinks.

Chaos had covered his eyes has the dragon had charged before exhaling loudly when Cat turned out to be okay.
"Yeah, I could never let the blonde do that sort of thing, I'd have a heart attack every time she went out to work..."

Slifer nodded sympathetically to Chaos as he strode over to Kitty, pulling her to his chest in a tight hug.
"Welcome to my world." He told the mage as Catilena chuckled returning the hug before pushing Slifer away.
"I need to get that guy back to HQ, I`ll be home later. Sorry if I scared you Chaos." She said, opening the door and walking back over to the unconscious dragon. She pulled out a cell phone and dialed a number as she climbed on top of it, sitting on its shoulders while Slifer shook his head.
"I swear, Ashely will never have to deal with that. Biggest danger an underling faces is getting singed by a stray shot of dragonflame, but you have a better chance of seeing Ra pick a human companion." Slifer said sheepishly as two more dragons arrived, grabbing the fallen dragon by the neck and tail and flying away with him while Catilena rode on top.

Chaos nodded to Cat before she left and turned back to Slifer. "How one earth do you cope? I mean, I'd be terrified..." He watched the dragons until they were just a speck in the distance and ran a hand though his hair. "Sometimes being a Guardian is enough to turn me grey..."

Slifer grinned at him as Sera floated over with a tray of drinks.
"It's on the house." She said as Slifer took one, sipping at it.
"Well, dragons have an excellent sense of smell, and whenever she's home she's usually curled up on me or in one of my wings. All her clients are either dragons or dinosaurs and they can smell me on her. Few would dare even touch someone associated with a god, let alone try to injure her like that guy did." He said as he took another sip.
"I know what you mean though, even with access to my energy to perform high-leveled magic like that teleportation spell she pulled just now, I still worry about her." He said, swinging his glass around slightly to make the drink swirl.

Chaos thanked Sera and took his hot chocolate, listening to Slifer. "Ah, well that make more sense now."
The mage looked into his drink and stirred it a bit, the application form fro earlier in his pocket. "I do hope Shell applies for that job."

"For Cat's sake I hope so too. Seems like she never really gets to sleep nowadays." He said with a slight yawn, sipping his drink again.
"So what kind of magic can Ashely do now?" He asked, tilting his head.

Chaos blinked. "She can levitate a tiny bit, she can reach the top shelves now, and she can almost 'smell' some emotions, if that makes any sense. But only when she concentrates really hard." He paused, thinking. "And I think she knows some weak healing magic too but I think that's it."

Slifer frowned a bit at Chaos' summary of his human's magical prowess, and he tilted his head a bit at him.
"All that is good, but you should teach her some shielding spells. If she can't put a protective barrier around herself she could be in a dangerous position not just at the Tamers, but also in general anytime she goes outside, especially if you find yourself in a power match with someone." He said as he stepped out of the way when the door opened, two men dressed in black entering. With a nod to each other, they each pulled a gun out and fired warning shots into the ground.
"Everybody get down! This is a robbery!" They shouted. Everyone stared at the two, dumbfounded, and silence rang throughout the cafe. After a few minutes, laughter erupted throughout the cafe and it was all Slifer could do to keep himself from collapsing. The two men glared and pointed a gun at the red-haired man.
"What are you laughing at!?" They yelled. Slifer wiped a tear from his eye and stared at the two with an amused expression.
"Oh wait, you're serious? Sweet mother of Ra, you're tourists, aren't you?" He asked, tilting his head.
"Yeah, what of it?" They asked him as many monstrous heads leaned over the rails to stare at the robbers.

The Mage nodded. "Good point, I'll get on that as soon as she's home again."
Chaos jumped slightly at the shots before looked at the robbers and hid a snigger as Slifer spoke to them.
