Slifer laid on one of the sea-docks and slightly napped. The two creatures whom worked at the dock he was resting on had the day off, so there was no need for him to move. And it was a good thing, for he had told his friend to meet him at this place, and it should be relatively easy to located the big red dragon. So here he laid and enjoyed the sun's rays with his tail comfortably sticking below the water while he waited for his friend, the spray of the ocean occasionally hitting his face and sides.

Chaos dropped the blonde at the local library, after giving her some money to go shopping if she wanted to, although he was well aware of the fact that she would probably come home with a ton of notebooks or something like that. When she'd gone inside, he left to head to the docks, having arranged to meet Slifer there. When he got close by, he could see a large red mass resting on one of the piers and approached it.
"Hey Slifer."

Slifer gave a sort of snort at the greeting as he raised his head, his larger, lower mouth opening wide in a yawn, before he turned to Chaos.
"Hello Chaos. Good to see you." He said, looking past the mage at the people coming to and from the port.
"This is a great place to relax. Feel free to climb on to get a better view." He said, lowering his head to offer the magician a proper seat since the dragon took up nearly the entire dock.

Chaos chuckled and climbed onto the giant dragon, taking a seat in the most un-invasive place and settling. He looked around.
"Yeah, it's a nice place. How are you today?"

Slifer stretched his wings as far as he could until he heard a small pop, then folded them back against the length of his body as he watched various creatures play in the water.
"I`m alright. I`m slightly annoyed at Kitty, but I`m alright. And you?" He asked, flicking his tail in the water.

The Mage watched the coils and wings of the dragon he was sitting on move and tilted his head a bit.
"I am well thank you," Chaos watched the people around them for a bit. "If I may ask, why are you annoyed with Kitty?"

Slifer chuckled at the question and pondered it for a moment before turning his head to look at Chaos with one of his eyes.
"Tell me, when you think of a human chosen by one of the gods, how do you picture them to be? What sort of personality would you expect?" He asked with a slight hint of amusement.
"Be honest about it." He added with a grin.

Chaos crossed his legs and leant his chin on his hand, really thinking about it.
"It would typically depend on the god I suppose," he said after a few minutes. "But, the image that comes to my own mind would be someone... Hm. Highly responsible, someone who grew up too fast perhaps, someone who acts older than their age, someone very wise..."
He paused, thinking about it some more before adding; "I'm not saying that she isn't any of those things but, you told me to be honest."

Slifer laughed at the mages assessment and explaination before waving a claw in the air dismissively.
"No no it's fine. That is what most people expect of Kitty, and that's the facade she tries to put on for others, but in fact, she is the opposite, for the most part." He said, eyes narrowing slightly.
"While she can be a very responsible young lass, she lacks, I guess you could say, confidence. She doesn't stand up for herself very well. She doesn't feel it's her place to. Yes, she`ll defend a companion and me, but when it comes to herself, she tends to let people walk all over her." He said, looking up.
"She's a captain at our tamer organization, and she has two underlings in her command. She gets to do the fun part in fighting and restraining troublesome dragons, while her incompetent henchmen fill out the paperwork associated with it." He said, snorting and letting loose some lightning.
"Those two couldn't even find their way out of a duel deck if they had a card taped over their eyes. Cat ends up doing ALL of the work while they bumble around and I can't get her to fire them. She feels like they wouldn't have anywhere else to go, and without this income they'd be doomed." He finished, his tail flicking once more before he relaxed back onto the dock.
"Sorry, didn't mean to rant, and I don't expect you to do anything. I appreciate you listening though." He said sheepishly.

Chaos nodded as he listened. "That's okay, sometimes it helps just to share with someone. I know what you mean though; Shelly is exactly the same when it comes to the confidence thing, and the standing up for others but not herself thing."
The Magician paused, pondering something. "Maybe, you, yourself, could find the bumbling idiots new jobs and get Cat to find someone else who WILL do the job properly to replace them?"

Slifer chuckled hollowly and shook his head.
"Never underestimate the stupidity of a human. Unfortunately, there isn't anything they CAN do right, and no one would tolerate their idiocy like Kitty does. She's stuck with them until someone more organized comes along, and that won't happen anytime soon because people get the wrong idea about tamers, and think it's all about fighting the dragons. No human will let their duel monster partner take the job and vice versa on the misconception that's it's a dangerous one." He said, grumbling about what he would do to the person who spread such rumors.

The Magician laughed quietly at the grumbling.
"Well, I know my dear blonde is looking for work still. She enjoyed her courses but still can't figure out where she wants to go really. You could try talking to her? She is very organised; in fact, she reorganises things for fun, silly girl. And paperwork is fun for her..."

Slifer turned his head to face the magician and stared at him with a single eye before smirking, giving a curt nod.
"She's welcome to fill out an application. The second Kitty gets it, she`ll have no excuse to keep those two on board. Someone will take pity on them, even if Kira can make them janitors, provided they don't break the broom." He said, giving an amused snort. He stretched out his neck before he turned back to the mage.
"So, are you hungry? I wouldn't mind taking you to Dragon's Den, my treat." He said with a smile.

Slifer chuckled as he carefully raised himself on the dock, the wood creaking slightly under his weight but still supporting it.
"Hold on tight then." He said, flapping his wings once when the mage got a secure grip and slowly climbed to the clouds. The dragon frowned momentarily before he began his descent, the buildings running past him as he lowered himself towards the ground. He curled around one of the buildings when he got as far down as he culd and lowered his head in front of the cafe to let the mage off.
"Go ahead and get your order started, I need to check something real quick." He said, staring at the sky sternly.
