Slifer chuckled as he finished his fish, sliding the plate to the edge of the table.
"I actually like quiz shows as well, so does Kitty. In fact, that's how we assign chores. The one who gets the most right gets to pick what they do, hehe. I let her win sometimes." He mused as Sera returned to collect the dishes.
"Yeah right, and I`m a harpy lady." She said. Slifer turned to her and raised his lip, making her shudder.
"Don't do that! You know how creepy I think that is." She said, glaring.
"Bite me."
"I hope you bite yourself!" The two argued like this for a few minutes as Sera waited to collect Chaos' dishes. Picking them up, she snorted at Slifer before turning to Chaos and nodding at him.
"Come back again soon. I`ll stop by later to give you some of our leftover Dragon-Fried chicken if you are in need of supper." She said, floating in place while Slifer crossed his arms under his head.

He listened and observed this behaviour with amusement, chuckling to himself. Chaos thanked the dragon when she took his plates and grinned at her offer of Dragon Fried Chicken.
"That sounds awesome Sera, thanks! Shell will love you for it."

Sera nodded happily and giggled at the mage.
"Sure thing. I get off work in a few hours so I`ll come by then. See you later." She said, floating away. Slifer stretched out once more and stared at Chaos.
"So, how did you meet yours?" He asked, tilting his head.

Chaos nodded to Sera as she left and settled back in his own seat.
"Shell? Hm, well, that's a good question, let me see if I can remember," he paused for a bit, thinking.
“I think Shelly was eight years old. I had been dozing at the time, for some reason. I shouldn’t have been really, I should’ve been watching over her. I used to sleep when she did y’see. I was sleeping, until I heard her say my name, and I mean, my full name; the one on the card that is. She summoned me, duelled with me and won. At some point after that, she was sitting in her room, looking at her cards, and for some reason I was able to appear next to her. And we’ve been inseparable ever since.”
He hesitated a moment, frowning a bit. "I think that's it."

Slifer chuckled and looked thoughtful for a moment.
"I think Kitty was five when I came to her. She had lost her parents, either by abandonment or death, so she didn't have anyone to take care of her. Humans tried to take her to a nasty old orphanage but I took her instead." He said, losing himself in the world of his memories

Chaos listened and nodded. "I like to think that orphanages are better now than they used to be."

Slifer's eyes flashed a hint of emotion for a moment before he tilted his nose up.
"Regardless, no one knows what's best for kitty better than I do. I refuse to share her with people who will only see her as a number and then chuck her out when she is no longer a child." He said with a snort as Sera served the table behind them.
"Don't mind him, Slifer doesn't really like anyone getting close to Kitty but him. He's got a crush on her and refuses to admit it." She said as Slifer gave her the stinkeye.
"I do not, go away." He growled, causing the purple serpent to giggle and float away.

Chaos noticed the slight flash of emotion and nodded as the great dragon spoke. "Oh no, I completely agree with you; no one should be treated that way..."
He chuckled at Sera's comment and then chuckled a little louder as the serpent giggled as she left.

Slifer turned his glare to Chaos as his eye twitched, and he grinned a dangerous smile.
"I assure you any rumors that I hold an inappropriate affection for Kitty are false. Sera enjoys gossip very much, to my annoyance." He said, crossing his arms as he took a deep breath to calm himself as Sera floated back over with a tray of drinks.
"Your misery, it sustains me." She said, smirking. Slifer cast yet another glare at her and cracked his knuckles.
"Keep going, I dare you." He said as she set the drinks down at the table behind them. holding the empty tray against her chest, Sera giggled at Slifer's annoyance and cast a wink as Chaos, her tail brushing against Slifer's arm as she floated away. Slifer shook his head and sighed before he turned back to his friend.
"So, have you found employment yet?" He asked casually.

Chaos laughed at the interaction before turning back to the dragon.
"Well, I'm more a part time magic/maintenance handy man at the apartment block we live in but other than that, no nothing."
He paused. "Y'know, there isn't really anything wrong with having feelings for your Human," the Mage went ever so slightly pink and looked up at the ceiling. "At least, I don't think so."

Slifer gave a knowing smirk at Chaos and crossed his arms, looking at the mage smugly.
"Oh really now, and how exactly do you come to that?" He asked innocently.

He shrugged, and fiddle with a coffee stirring stick. "Well, most Guardians such as yourself, have Human forms, so it's just a normal relationship really isn't it? And who else would be better for the Humans? Their Guardians are often the ones who know the Human best, so it's logical really..."

Slifer shook his head knowingly and his eyes held a sort of gleam in them.
"No, it goes deeper than that. I could tell by your blush." The god said, his cheeks starting to hurt from how much he'd been smiling.
