Welcome to Slifer-Stream, the ultimate YuGiOh! Roleplaying site. I am catilena1890, but you guys can call me kitty. So, let’s get started. Here are a couple things you'll need in order to Roleplay;
My Legend:
"Speech"
Story/movement
Private Thoughts/telepathic communication
My Rules:
Now for a few rules, simple enough, first, let’s keep in mind the 3 Ps, Post well, Post nice, and Post smart.
To Post Well is to keep track of what is going on in the thread, you can’t challenge someone to a duel if they are already dueling.
To Post Nice is to respect others in your posts. Flames are for duel-monsters, not forum members.
To Post Smart is to use correct grammar and spelling in your posts. I have better things to do than waste my time trying to figure out what the hell you are trying to say. For example:
aloright, is be beatn yo ass biatch!
And I quote from a very annoying, yet much beloved friend. It takes me an average of 8 minutes to figure out what she is trying to type to me. So instead of typing as you see in my example, try this:
Alright! I win!
Simple, yet it speaks volumes. I think you get it now, yes? Moving on, plot rules! I do need to have these in order to avoid confusion and anger.
Plot Rules:
Maximum of 3 characters per account*
One Guardian per character
One character per guardian
You cannot join a plot that has more than 5 pages without the ThreadMaker’s permission, for that goes under my “Post Well” rule in that you have to actually READ everything that happened in that thread in order to know what is going on. The ThreadMaker has to give you a summary of the thread’s plot if they agree to let you join.
No overpowering your character and guardian, your character is human, so they can’t be firin their lazah *Blaargh! Lol, Dr. Octagonapus humor* and your Guardian is a duel monster, they should have their CARD/VIDEO GAME abilities only, I want proof of which abilities come from where. The ONLY ability that your guardian can have that is not a card or game ability is the ability to shape-shift back and forth between human and monster form, like Slifer, for obvious reasons. I admit, Slifer’s Divine Claw attack is neither a card, game, nor show attack, but really, it’s for the sake of the plot, it’s meant to be a gentle attack when Kitty attacks her opponent directly in duel plots.**
Try not to be involved in more than 3 ACTIVE plots. I can understand if you are bored and none of the three plots you are in respond to your posts. Believe me, I occasionally get this problem at my Weyr RP. But if you get wrapped up in too many plots, you could get the plotlines confused, and end up dueling someone who is trying to sleep, or feeding someone who is trying to work.***
*This rule can be disregarded ONLY if you have proven to me you are capable of maintaining more than 3 characters.
**All extra powers have to be approved.
***same as the first one, prove you can keep track of 3 plots well.
Setting for all plots:
The city of Morta, whatever the currant date for today is, the language is English, and reality is the Real World with monsters.
So, now you know the basics. I hope you enjoy our wonderful plots! I’ll be seeing all my RolePlayers at the threads! It’s time to Duel!
