Ok so, I feel I need to clarify this since we've had many, uh, situations concerning this. You see, most of our affliates are family-friendly sites. They expect the same from their affliates too. Now I know SS has some places that are not family-friendly, but those are not accessible to non-SS members. To keep our affliates happy so they will keep our banner up, I need to state a few rules about the PUBLIC chatbox.
1. Keep it clean. No violence, gore, sex, or anything of the sort in the chatbox. If you wouldn't say it in church or in front of a little kid, don't say it in chat.
2. Be nice to everyone in chat, especially guests. You can joke around, but be polite while doing so.
3. Don't spam the chatbox with random letters. No one wants to read messages like "
" or "AsdfgHJKuJbn" if you get confused about something, an elipses (...) or 3, count them THREE question marks () will do fine.
4. Racism/hate speech will NOT be tolerated under ANY circumstances. Any racism or hate speech in the chatbox will automatically result in a one week banning from the chatbox.
5. Pictures, videos, and other medias posted in the chatbox have to be appropriate. Nothing rated R or above please.
6. This is not ImmortalNight. I don't care if you talk about other games in the chat. I don't care if you talk about other sites in the chat. Just don't recruit people to it and don't link to it if it is not appropriate. If someone asks for a link, you can post it, but don't say "hey come join {insert game/site name here}". That is what the affliate section is for.
7. Do not colors that are painful to the eyes. I cannot control what colors the colorboard on the chatbox displays so you'll have to use good judgement on color selection. If we have to repeatedly tell you to change your color, there will be consequences.
8. Since it is obvious that some people are too clueless to realize this, Staff is to obeyed and respected at ALL TIMES. What they say, goes and if you don't like it, tough nuts. If anything the staff says or does is out of line, I will take care of it.
9. The Staff of SS reserves the right to change the rules at any time. We are not obligated to tell you when the rules are updated/changed.
Punishment for not obeying the rules is at the descretion of the staff members on duty. If you think you were unjustly punished in the chatbox, be sure to keep a copy of the dispute and send me, catilena1890, a message either in an e-mail or a PM and we will settle it.
