Of Scales and Fur *Dark and Mutt*

Now! Mutt thought as the dragon stormed towards him.

He slammed his fists to the ground powerfully and shards of rock shot towards the dragon already heading straight into the midst of them. The wave of rock passed by the hail of sapphire, both hurtling towards their respective targets.

After launching his attack, Mutt looked up, wanting to dodge, but knowing there wasn't going to be enough time. He shielded his face and chest, and stood his ground, weathering the oncoming attack. He suffered a number of new injuries, and growled as he lowered is arms, but remained standing.

The dragon was unable to dodge the attack in time and crashed through multiple rocks, landing on the ground with a thud and sliding to lay just in front of Mutt. Luster Dragon struggled to stand and on wobbly legs looked at his opponent with a mixture of respect and disgruntlement before collapsing on the ground. The dragon panted a little and turned it's head toward it's opponent, giving an awkward dragonic smirk and extending one of it's foreclaws to Mutt.

Mutt grasped the dragon's offered claw and chuckled weakly. "That was a very... very nice fight," he said happily between breaths of air. He was grinning rather widely. "Thank you very much for that," he said sincerely.

With that he fell to all fours, breathing heavily, as Dark ran over.

"You okay?" he asked anxiously. "Jeez," he said, looking at the wounds. Mutt yawned widely.

"Yup, I'm good," he replied. "Think I'm gonna need to lay down for a bit though," he said with a laugh, and got to his feet. He got to his feet, mostly steady and gave the Luster Dragon a smile and a nod. "Hope to see you in the tournament. Good luck" he said, before turning and heading off. Dark gave a nod of his head to the Luster Dragon and followed after Mutt.

OOC: Not a bad fight. Not bad at all. I will use this as a reference to people during the tournament so that they can see how an appropriate power-match is done.
